Born in 1986. He completed his secondary and high school education at Hazım Kulak Anadolu Lisesi in 2004. He graduated from the Business Faculty at İstanbul University in 2008. He did an internship at the Finance Services of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. Upon graduation, he moved to the United Kingdom to further develop his English skills.
In the UK, he worked on mobile government projects, as well as in consultancy and the automotive sector, gaining international experience early in his career, besides the family business background. In 2010, he transitioned to academia and joined Bingöl University, one of the newly founded universities in Türkiye.
Between 2011 and 2018, he worked at Marmara University. During this period, he completed his MSc on mobile marketing and, in 2019, his PhD on Country Branding, while also taking on active roles in academic and administrative structures, including serving on the AACSB accreditation team and as an elected member of the Faculty’s Management Board.
In 2018, he returned to his university, where he taught marketing, business, and public administration modules at the UG, Master’s, and PhD levels, and was appointed Assistant Professor in 2022. He contributed to institutional development and to the university’s academic journals, held roles within the Continuing Education Centre and the Quality Coordination Office at the Rectorate. After completing his mandatory service, he left the position at the university.
As of April 2026, he is a full-time Lecturer in Marketing and an associate member of the research institute at De Montfort University. He also provides business training and strategy consultancy services.
His teaching and research interests are strategic marketing, global marketing, country branding, the digital world and Artificial Intelligence.
